A Twinkling Reminder
of Hope and Love

Gorgeous new children’s book reminds both old
and young to remember the divine power we have
deep within…and all around.

It is nighttime and a group of children are stargazing, fascinated by the
immensity of the heavens.

The stars shoot and dance across the sky…and the children wonder why.
What are the stars trying to say? And what could a little star possibly teach
from such a vast distance?
In their new release, It Was My Star, authors Theresa Gooch and Barbara
Irvin have written a book for all ages that touches on love, God’s creation,
and the miracle that is the heart of a child.
The book, lushly illustrated by Vanessa Keys, includes a CD with original
music played by Gina Edge. It follows a group of children who are
reminded by a gentle owl, graceful trees, and a little fawn that they are
creatures of unique greatness.
In chorus, the stars tell the children worldwide that “They too were born a
star,” and that each child has their own star to shine upon them, light their
way, and remind them of the miracle they are.
Written for children of all ages, It Was My Star teaches each of us that we
were born brilliant stars, and that the more love we give to others, the
brighter we, too, will shine.

Everyone LOVES It Was My Star!

“A brilliant reminder for all of us that when you listen with your heart, you
find that Love is all around you…”
Candace Doyle, co-author of The Voice for Love, Oregon

“…This is a message that resonates so naturally that even
a two-year-old gets it.”
Amy Bremner, graphic designer, Nevada

“As a former teacher turned therapist and advocate of empowering selfesteem
in children and adults, I can only rave about It Was My Star…”
-Cezanna Christyne Malter, MS, ND, California
